Useful commands
tina_config
The tina_config
command allows you to extract informations concerning a server configuration and backup schedule from the catalog.
Syntax
tina_config [-encode file]|[-decode file][-html][-catalog catalog][-identity user:password][-help] |
Option | Explaination |

Without options |
Display the configuration of the catalogs used by the host |
[-encode file] |
Creates a file describing the catalogs on the Tina Server (useful for support) |
[-decode file] |
Decodes a file created with the -encode option |
[-html] |
Displays the result of the -decode option in HTML format |
[-catalog catalog] |
Specifies the working catalog |
[-identity user:psswd] |
Allows you to specify a username and password to connect to the Tina catalog |
devdrvconfig
The devdrvconfig
command allows you to show all libraries and tapes seen by TiNa
devdrvconfig -s tape | mc | tape_mc (show devices) |
